COMPACT STATIC SWITCHES

Solid state relays PPSSR devices are synchronized internally with the power supply network which enter into conduction at the zero crossing of voltage and off at the zero crossing of current, thanks to that they overcome the limitations of electromechanical switches in many difficult and demanding applications.
They have an extremely long life, because have not contacts that can wear out, are extremely quiet, and generate radio frequency interference completely negligible. This makes them ideal for applications where the acoustic or electrical disturbances are a problem; the complete absence of moving parts allows operation without alterations or damage in many dirty atmospheres.
Static switches "PPSSR - compact" are manufactured in 6 sizes and can be equipped with fuse and varistor.
The execution phase is obtained by using, according to necessity, n ° 2 or 3 single-phase static switches.
All components are assembled in a rational and robust for heavy duty applications, and are mounted on a suitable insulated heat sink, provided with a support for the attachment of profile EN50022 for currents up to 50A; or with brackets for wall mounting for larger sizes.

STATIC POWER SWITCHES

SSC solid state contactors are synchronized internally with the power supply network which enter into conduction at the zero crossing of voltage and off at the zero crossing of the current; thanks to that they overcome the limitations of electromechanical switches in many difficult and burdensome applications.
The static contactors have an extremely long life, because they have no contacts that can wear out, are extremely quiet, and generate radio frequency interference completely negligible; this makes them ideal for applications where the acoustic disturbances or electrical represent a problem; the complete absence of moving parts allows operation without alteration and / or damage in particularly aggressive atmospheres.
Static switches "SSC - discrete components" are manufactured in 12 sizes and are complete against overvoltage (RCZ).
The fuses are external and provided upon request. The execution phase is obtained by using, as needed, 2 or 3 single-phase static switches.
All components, assembled in a rational and robust for heavy duty applications, are mounted on a suitable insulated heat sink.

SPECIAL HIGH-POWER STATIC SWITCHES

They are bigger switches which in some cases can be up to a few hundred kilo-amperes (in the figure switch from 100 kA impulsive). The latter are routinely used in labs certified to test the normal electromechanical switches.
Available in the catalog in sizes from 400A to 1500A.
For currents from the 1500A and up to a few hundred kA they are designed and manufactured to customer specifications and based on the operating conditions of use.

LOAD INTERRUPTION

This device detects the absence or decrease of the effective current applied to the load via a static switch (SSC ... / ... PPSSR); the intervention threshold is calibrated, by means of a trimmer graduated, from a minimum of 10% to a maximum of 100% of the rated current of work.
DPI device grants the following functions: - Load sensing partially and entirely broken; - Sensing electronic switch shorted; - Presence detection command; - Detection intervention line fuse; - Volt output signal proportional to the current applied to the load; - Memory operations; - Alarm reset.
The DPI device is made in one size; the detection circuit is always the same while varying the current transformer and the calibration resistor as a function of load current.
The assembly is provided with a profile rail EN50035 / EN50022.

TIME PROPORTIONING

This board allows the improvement of the system of ON / OFF control right of the static switches "SSC ... / ... PPSSR" that allows to vary the timing of closing and opening of the load circuit as a function of an analog signal coming from any source. Its use allows to realize a control of all / nothing proportional in time suitable for accurate temperature controls.
The repetition period, ie the time base of the system, it is always much smaller than the thermal constant of the medium to be heated and are therefore it may not occur fluctuations in the controlled temperature.
Using different TP boards and dividing loads can reduce the heating power as you get closer to the set point. By acting on the calibration trimmers (SP and PB) and on the input resistances it is in fact possible to bring to zero the output of the board, and then disconnect the load in correspondence with a given reference signal.
TP board can be supplied with quick fasteners for panel mounting or to be assembled in an insulated container for rail attachment profile with EN50035 / EN50022 thus allowing considerable savings in installation.
